Here are ways that you can help us meet our goals:
Donate - Our 2012 Campaign is currently underway. Please read the following letter from the Powers Library board of trustees to learn why your support is needed now more than ever. You may send a check payable to Powers Library to P.O. Box 71, Moravia, NY 13118-0071. The Powers Library Association is a not-for-profit charitable organization. Contributions are tax deductible under IRS regulations per Section 501 (c)(3).
Visit our Book Store - The library now offers used books at the Anthony Gallery building, 106 Main Street, Moravia, N.Y. (across from Four Town First Aid). We also have a selection of new books of local interest on sale by the Cayuga-Owasco Lakes Historical Society.
Our next sale dates will be as follows:
- Saturday, May 25
- Saturday, June 29
- Saturday, July 27
Donate Your Used Books, Tapes, CDs and DVDs - The library gratefully accepts donations of gently used items that we can resell at the Library Annex and at our annual book sale. You can drop off your items inside the library during regular hours or at the Anthony Gallery during sale days. We cannot accept textbooks, magazines, newspapers, Reader's Digest condensed books, books that are missing covers, pages, moldy or are damaged, or inappropriate materials. Please do not leave books outside or in our book return box. For large quantities (more than two bags or boxes), please contact the library to make an appointment.
Volunteer - We sincerely welcome those who wish to donate their time, either at the library, at our book store or at our annual book sale. Please contact the library for more information on ways that you can help.
